The company was started in November 2007. Much of its work involves helping clients manage their cashflow. Julian Llewellyn, OptimaRM's managing director, says that "companies don't put enough focus on their cashflow."

As Julian explains, OptimaRM helps companies in this situation take "a more proactive approach to ensuring invoices are paid on time." It's no exaggeration to say this can save a business from bankruptcy.

As a relatively new company, OptimaRM uses its website to find new customers. Prospective clients can view full information about the business and even see demonstrations of its innovative online systems.

The website runs on Microsoft Windows, using ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL. Ed Van den Berg is the company's Operations Director with responsibility for web applications. OptimaRM's business is underpinned by its web services. Clients can log in to their account online. They can then see information about their company's finances, including projections, risk levels, cash forecasts and much more.
